If you’re here, it’s either because:
.
A. You’re curious.
.
B. You’ve been here before and you wanted to come back.
.
C. You typed in the wrong address or clicked on the wrong link.
.
D. You’re working on an assignment and need information (or hope a ready-made report will magically appear on this page).
.
E. You’re looking for something fun.
.
As long as you’re here ...
.
A. Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it gives birth to ideas.
.
B. Welcome back ... tell your friends.
.
C. Sorry. Better luck next time.
.
D. I could write your report or paper for you, but seriously? I already graduated from your grade. And, no, I still won’t do it even if it’s due at 8:00 tomorrow morning and it’s almost midnight. Yes, I know how desperate you are. I was desperate way too many nights before my papers were due. (The worst? It was Saturday afternoon and I still had three novels to read and four 5-page papers to write for Monday morning.) But because I am a nice person, I won’t leave you totally dangling. You can copy and paste the letter below into your word processing program, fill in the blanks, print it out, then turn it in. Good chance you’ll still get an F, but you might make your teacher smile. And maybe you’ll get permission to turn in something late.

Dear Ms./Mrs./Miss/Mr./Dr. ____________________________,
.
I could tell you that a ___________________ climbed through my window last night and ____________________ed my perfectly written paper, but I’m afraid you wouldn’t believe me. So won’t bother to bring in the ______________________ it left behind or my voice-activated tape recorder that captured its horrible ______________ing sound. I can tell you that the director of the amazing TV show, __________________________, heard about the incident and is flying me to the city of _________________________ to interview me about this _________________ experience. I’d ask you to come along, but I know you can’t be bribed. (Can you? Please?)
.
Instead, I’ll just have to say _____________________________. I promise I’ll work on the assignment tonight and turn it in on __________day even if you won’t give me any credit for it. (______________________told me to say that last part because he/she knows it’s important to learn what I’m supposed to.)
.
Just so you know that I’ve been thinking about this assignment, here are my first three sentences. _____________________________

Thank you for being so _____________________________.

Kids have asked me to put puzzles on this website page, and I hope to, someday. But right now, I’m liking this book-writing thing, so I need to spend most of my time doing that. Meanwhile, check out these fun links:
